The Diploma in Journalism is a 2-year part time day course intended if you are interested in building a career in media research, journalism and or broadcasting. It also provides a qualification if you are a journalist on the job. The programme provides you with an overview of research tools and communication skills that contribute toward effective journalistic communication skills in the workplace. More specifically, you will follow, among others, courses in journalism issues, reporting, interviewing, media law, graphic design, layout, magazine and digital publishing. The Diploma prepares graduates for a research and skill-based approach to journalistic work.
Applicants admitted as "Adult Learners" under paragraph (c) of regulation 6 of the Admissions Regulations must be in possession of those qualifications and experience that would satisfy the Board, through an interview, that they have reached the academic standard required to follow the Course with profit. Such applicants shall be required to submit with their application a letter written in English giving their motivation for applying for the Course, together with a copy of their Curriculum Vitae .

Conduct productive interviews and write short interview articles.
Apply key concepts of Internet Studies and apply transdisciplinary thinking to the application and creation of ideas concerning networked technologies of information and communication 譅Formulate and clearly state a research question and/or hypothesis.
Carry out independent study.
Locate sources of law.
Demonstrate knowledge on how to put personal biases aside and stick to facts he/she has sourced and, where needs be, double source them.
